For research we are currently participating in 3 projects with a total budget of approx €700,000. Research projects involves both private companies and as well as government or educational institutions. One of these projects is (www.vineflygis) which was written and is being coordinated by our company. This project involves the Cyprus University of technology (CUT – TEPAK – Civil geomatic department), the Agricultural research Institute (government) and also other private companies

Our company not only is involved in research but also has been promoting and selling Laboratory products and scientific instruments since it was founded. Our Customers include Academic Institutions (University of Cyprus, Cyprus technological University, Frederick University), government organisations and ministries and also semi-government organisations and as well as companies and industries in the private sector

As a company NOVATEX solutions Ltd has been in the market since 1999. We have been always seeking for new technology product opportunities while trying to differentiate our company from many other companies in Cyprus.  Ten years ago we were among the first few companies in Cyprus that offered Scientific Instruments and Supplies and distributing VWR international and other companies’ products. In the last couple of years we have seen a decline in sales for general laboratory products due to the fact that today in Cyprus we have seen many companies emerging everywhere and trying to get into the general field of laboratory supplies.  This involved competitors selling cheap quality products (mainly from china) in a “sell and forget” manner which affected their credibility.

 The only way to survive in this competitive market is to try and stand out of the crowd and differentiate our company from others. Because we are relatively small company it means that we can also be very flexible. This is one of the main reasons why we are TRYING TO OFFER NICHE PRODUCTS and not compete companies and products of unknown value and product quality.
