About the Project

UNITE4H is a European project focused on strengthening collaboration between universities and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to improve participation in Horizon Europe programmes.

The project develops tools and training resources that help both academics and businesses build the skills and knowledge needed to successfully engage in European innovation partnerships and collaborative projects.

Objectives

The project aims to improve collaboration between universities and SMEs by:

  • Identifying challenges and opportunities in university–business collaboration
  • Developing training programmes and practical tools
  • Supporting skills and knowledge for Horizon Europe participation
  • Strengthening collaboration between academia and industry
  • Validating training through workshops and pilot activities

A local authority in Ireland with strong experience in EU projects, supporting enterprise development and collaboration between businesses and higher education institutions

An international university focused on innovation, research, and strong collaboration with industry through knowledge transfer and advanced strategic partnerships

UIIN

An international organisation specialising in university–industry collaboration, providing research, training, and consultancy on innovation and knowledge transfer

Univations

An innovation and entrepreneurship institute supporting knowledge transfer and collaboration between universities and businesses within regional ecosystems
