VineFlyGis

Automated pest monitoring for modern agriculture

About the Project

VineflyGIS is a project focused on improving agricultural production by helping farmers monitor pest activity and optimize the use of pesticides. It uses smart technologies, including automated traps, sensors, and data analysis, to provide real-time insights into pest populations.

By collecting and analysing data from the field, the system supports early warning and more precise decision-making, helping farmers apply pesticides at the right time and in the right amount while reducing environmental impact.

Objectives

The project aims to support smart and sustainable agriculture by:

  • Monitoring pest populations using automated systems
  • Supporting accurate and timely use of pesticides
  • Providing real-time data and insights to farmers
  • Reducing environmental impact through precision agriculture
  • Improving crop protection and agricultural productivity
